After checkout

After a successful purchase, install or open GapMap Research Studio on the Windows device being licensed. Go to Settings -> License -> Manage license, copy the Device ID, and send it to admin@gapmapresearch.com.

Receive and activate

GapMap prepares one signed, device-bound `.gapmaplic` licence file for that Device ID. Licence fulfilment is manual during beta and should not be treated as automatic or immediate.

After you receive the `.gapmaplic` file by email, save it somewhere easy to find and import it from the activation screen. The app should switch from trial mode to paid licence mode after the file is accepted.

Verify unlocks

Confirm that the record limit is removed and that PDF, DOCX, and XLSX export options are available. If activation fails, email admin@gapmapresearch.com with the purchase email and a screenshot of the activation error.

Keep the file private

The licence file is for the buyer's own licensed Windows device and workflow. Do not publish it, commit it to a repository, or send it to another user.
